I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Susanna and Adam for two decades, ever since my family welcomed our first puppy into our home. From the very beginning, it was evident that they were exceptional in their field, and we felt incredibly fortunate to be under their guidance. Their genuine kindness and empathy, not only towards dogs but also towards people, coupled with their profound understanding of animal behavior, transformed what could have been a challenging puppy training experience into one that was joyful and enriching.
Even after their relocation to Florida, we stayed connected and continued to benefit from their expertise virtually. It’s astonishing to witness the remarkable transformation in our new 5-month-old Labrador puppy after following their guidance. It’s as if we’ve established a unique language with our pup. She now comprehends boundaries, and we, in turn, can interpret her signals effectively. We are profoundly thankful to have Susanna and Adam in our lives, offering their support whenever we need it. They are an outstanding team. We have complete trust in their abilities, and we wholeheartedly rely on their expertise. Thank you Adam and Susanna!

I don’t know where to even start… my dog is just a little over a year old, about a month ago he got into a little bit of a fight with another dog. I was extremely concerned and worried that my dog had now created a bad habit and I knew even though he’s not bad I didn’t have the control I needed to prevent anything like this from happening again. Let me introduce Arlo, he’s a very shy and skittish Catahoula mix, he’s so sweet but very scared of new people and terrified of loud noises and things he’s never experienced. Going into his training he knew basic commands like sit, come, lay. I chose to get Arlo trained so that I could have better control. I was terrified I was gonna chose a trainer that wouldn’t give Arlo and I what we needed.
I definitely went in not knowing what to expect. Adam and his wife started off very strong with communication and after Arlos day 1 I had 100% confidence that this was right for us. Adam is VERY good with dogs he knew EXACTLY how to approach Arlo (a very scared dog) on day 1. It was the first time I hadn’t seen Arlo really bark at a person. Adam’s energy is very calm and collected which is very important especially to a fearful dog. After every day of Arlos training Adam would explain and demonstrate a little of what Arlo was learning and every question I asked was answered. Throughout my whole experience there was one thing that really stood out and it was Adam’s ability to truly understand every dog he’s worked with. He was able to understand Arlo and his needs. Arlo was not just “another dog” he had individuality to Adam.
Within 10 day Arlo was able to learn so much and after 5 of those days I was able to tell a big difference. Truly it’s change not only my life but arlos, and it’s for the better! This is such an amazing training program and is all thanks to Adam. A bonus I was extremely happy about was that Adam took Arlo out to practice his training. Now not only did arlo learn, i learned a lot too and I’m so excited to apply and continue what’s been taught. Adam was able to help me create a deeper level of trust with Arlo and I’m forever grateful for that. I 100% recommend this program to any and everyone. Thank you Adam for helping us and helping me understand arlos needs in a better way. I’m seriously so grateful for you guys there is no price tag worth what you’ve done for us.

Campbells Canine Training is absolutely the best training program I have ever encountered (and we have encountered a lot!). We first met Adam over 15 years ago when we adopted a wonderful pup who was clearly more than we could handle. We had worked with a number of experienced trainers but had not found the help we needed. Adam immediately saw what a wonderful pup he was and gently worked with us to teach us how to successfully handle our amazing boy. What Adam taught us allowed us to have a wonderful, peaceful life with our boy going forward. It also gave us the tools to continue to adopt and raise this more difficult breed (Dogo Argentino). Fifteen-plus years later, we encountered issues with our current Dogo that we had not encountered before. With a FaceTime consult (we are in Ohio and Campbells Canine Training is in Florida) we were able to work through our concerns and overcome our obstacles. Once again, we are on track to relax and enjoy our wonderful Scooby.
Susanna and Adam’s vast experience with every conceivable type of dog shows in the care and kindness they exhibit with each individual dog. When discussing the issues we encountered, we were completely confident Adam understood the nature of our dog and the context of his behavior. Adam was able to provide us with the guidance we needed to help us move forward with confidence. We would unequivocally trust our dogs with Susanna and Adam, knowing they would care for them and understand them the same way that we do. To us, that is everything.

Adam did a great job with our boy, Brody.
Brody did a 2 week board & train and came back home much more focused & relaxed. Our one-on-one session with Adam when he brought Brody home was extremely helpful & informative! Adam really has a way of conveying what the dog’s thought process is & why they react & do certain things. That was extremely important for us – to understand why Brody had fallen into certain bad habits.

We cannot say enough good things about the board and train experience our two Labrador puppies had with Adam and Susanna. Over the course of nearly three weeks, they provided a structured, loving, and highly effective training environment that completely transformed our dogs.
Before their stay, our puppies were sweet but wild – full of energy and lacking impulse control. When they returned home, it was like we had brand new dogs. They are now calm, attentive, and incredibly well-behaved. Mealtime, walks, greetings–everything has improved. Adam and Susanna laid the foundation for what we honestly thought might be impossible with two young Labs.
We’re continuing to build on the off-leash training they began, and there is no way we would be making the progress we are without the head start they gave us. Adam and Susanna’s consistency, communication, and clear love for the dogs made all the difference. We wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for expert training with lasting results.

We had our 14-month-old mini-goldendoodle Loki in the 2-week boarding/training with Adam over a year ago. He remains obedient and still knows his commands, including recall off-leash. I highly recommend Campbells Canine Training.

Adam and Susanna were wonderful. I would highly recommend this dog trainer. After the second day of working with Adam, Kodi, my Cavachon, finally stopped pulling terribly when walking and now stays in the heel position next to me routinely. My dog will sit next to me when I stop walking with him. He does a great sit-stay and also down-stay. I will continue to work with him, but I highly recommend Adam and Campbells Canine Training for your dog training needs.
